OH MY GAWD~!! Javier is hospitalised !! , extremely uber crap shocking u know. He has a chest pain , and had undergone a minor surgery i think. Aww, get better man. If not u'll miss u'r badminton doubles wif me : ) Oh ya, still got stanley sub u, okay u stay in bed then . ( jk ;x ) Today's PE was basketball . We won this time lar, but yeah, cos javier isnt there. We played quite well today i guess. However, at the last 2 min, i was like...giddy and fainting and gonna vomit. Oh, i vomited but held it back : ( , sick eh. I subbed hadassah , and ya, it ended wif a 19-8 . Craps , the badminton compe is pushed back by one week . Ya- ha! At long last, after 3 1/2 years of dedicated hard work , and the pails of sweat i produced throughout the years , i finally received the Founder's Award!! [ over-exaggerated ] ; DD Went to seanwee house to polish and polish again . John was already there, well prepared , fully geared with his full U .Then , after weiqi came up , we called a london cab over . Joel was already below waiting and next, off we go to our destination. We reached there at about 4pm , and yes , very warm and boring there. Arnd 5 + , den got some stupid inspection la. Then , nothing much ~~ some intro , then rehearsal and finally dinner. alright, today is really a good day, although the first few periods are rather ..normal . yeah , a hilarious day larh. Lets start wif , the chinese lesson. Okay u see, some of us wanna go play badminton tmr as the corner stone badminton competition is coming soon & we wanna train ourselves up .However , the khatib badminton courts are all fully booked. So we resorted to booking in the sembawang CC there. Okay, tis javier wanted me to go and book and i wanted him to go and book. We cnt get into an agreement , so...yeah, guess wat. We used the most efficient way to decide it. 'SCISSORS PAPER STONE!!' . lOls , shit. Initially its just a friendly exchange of fingers and reflexes. After awhile , he lost . Then he SORE LOSER LARHH! , he said , ' one more time ' . This time , i lost . Then , okay i said ' best out of 3 rounds' . AND i won again. Things got heated up , and we were 'fighting' very violently. After a long battle and alot of excuses such as ' U CHEATED ' or ' NOOOOO AGAIN ONE LAST TIME ' , i emerged victory !! : ))) Yes no doubt he fought valiantly , but he is no match for the king of SPS ~~~~ . Next funny incident was on mr toh's 2nd maths period. Well u see, his jokes are ridiculously cold at times....haha, and is constantly disturbed by us. Today is really funny. Firstly , he said some cold jokes and javier said ,' haha very funny , ur jokes are like shaocong's ' . * slight giggles* . Mr toh said , ' Do i looks like im joking to u?? ' . Jav finally said , ' then wats wif tat smile on ur face~~~~" . Today is a pretty BAD day . Sucks man. Nothing much to add , just normal school and E maths test, physics test, bio SPA and english prelim oral! E maths is quite easy la, just one minor mistake for me. Physics, kinda sucks ... bio spa and oral is pretty alright too. Yup . Well , ytd got back my SS paper + A maths paper. A maths , as usual , fail ... arrhh. But this time i failed by 1 mark. I could hav passed much better if i had been more careful with my workings .. SS uhh, rocks : )) haha , 21/25 . Woots , other 4 marks are for weighing which we are not really taught to do so as we most probably wont hav time for it. mmms , alright end it here. PS : MY CONSCIENCE IS CLEAR! SUP! Today's Racial Harmony Day( RHD ) , and yeahs i wore a baju kurung : ) Very warm inside lah, cos gotta button up all the way up. I was like producing so much juice lah. (perspiring).... Well , the first thing happened in school was the performance in hall . Kinda fun at start during the modelling of costumes ; Funny also ... But unfortunately my class dint manage to win anything . Our class din't have all of us wearing trad costumes. mmmmms , yeah that's all for the performance ..IN HALL. Basically , our class only had geog lesson,English lesson and mayb physics lesson . Mr toh dint come , and so 2 free periods , wooots ! Shioks shioks . The nice part is the photo taking session lar. Personally ,I do not really like taking photos , cos i dunno how to pose or watever lah. lols . However i really had great times in class today. For approximately .....*let me count* .... 2-3 periods , we were having a massive photo taking session in class. Firstly , i saw yijing walking , holding her camera and taking some photos . Then next , all of us were talking and stuffs already. Somehow , from 1 camera become FOUR cameras , not including handphones . Then everyone go around taking photos , posing , and of cos making much noise. Really man , its the first time i take so many photos in a day lah. Lyka anti-social emo brat who hates photo taking . hha , im not okayy ! Other class were like so quiet , and got teacher inside teaching. Our class leh??? Lyka END OF O LVL . Blogging the 2nd time today ~~~ As i surfed the net , i came across this article , 'The Meaning of Respect' . The author is a dota player , and hence the context contain abit of dota terms. However, it is very enlightening to gamers who always scold others in game. ( not me , im nice : ] ) Just a few weeks ago before Euro 08 ended, i remembered seeing the word 'Respect' etched onto the player's shirts, and i wondered deep inside me; did these football players really respect each other on the field as much as they loved kicking the ball? The important thing i want to point out here is: "How much do you actually respect the players who are playing alongside u in the field?" I think the worst thing that a player can do is to fire a flow of expletives and continue showering curses onto the one who isn't performing well, which can really piss people off and make their radiant expressions change to a face of disappointment. It not only shows a bad attitude on the part of the gamers but affects the whole mood of the game altogether, causing the player who is feeding to continue plummeting even further. In actual fact, I never expected anyone to understand the true meaning of what it is to respect your teammates The worse thing that can happen while you are feeding is when your team starts to blame you. And the feeling plain sucks, because you feel responsible for the loss. It also creates a mental barrier in you; causing you to have this negative mindset that you can't play Dota to save your life. From there, your emotion just tend to get even heavier, especially if u just had a rough day at work or school. What i want to tell you guys today is, you should always respect your teammates. That basic respect is critical to the success of a team; it can make or break the team entirely. I think that is a very critical point about us Singaporean gamers; we never give our respect to those who are beneath us. Is it really so satisfying to annoy your teammates? For god's sake, it's only a game and it's casual, and what can games tell about a person's inner-mold character? Nothing . Absolutely nothing. Would you rather be hanging out with a good-mannered, spontaneous guy who can't really play dota well or with some ruffian, vulgar gangster who only knows how to stay behind the computer 24/7 and keep throwing insults at people he doesn't even know? We seem to have forgotten the reason why we are even playing these games. Is it to find and make new friends or rather to make people feel like they have just been thrown off the empire state building? I mean, wouldn't you feel guilty if you were the better guy this game and you kept a relentless string of remarks on the feeding noob, never considering the fact that he might be a great guy with a great personality and just looking to destress from a day of work? And you furiously scolding him simply ruins his pure intentions of having a good game. These kind of things just make people wanna quit gaming to avoid the many ugly abuses that other gamers hurl at them. Is it really so hard to just treat this as a game, and leave it there? I bet only the best of us do, and that is barely enough. Rawr!! , prelims are coming soon already , and I'm still DOTA-ing : ) Well , I know I should cut down on it & I think I will. Racial Harmony Day is on this coming monday and I'll be wearing malay traditional costume : ) Ku lent me the trad costumes , and Omar lent me the ...hat thingy ><>< . Yes! Finally its Friday. At last i can have a proper break for the week , though i still got tuition. After reading Naruto and Bleach latest manga , I bathed, eat and finally play DOTA : ) I gonna talk more bout teachers teaching my class tdy. mm , ok , i sorta feel tat mr toh is like..getting better ?? lols. During sec 3, yeah no doubt he sucks alot to me. I dunno lah , i always get aimed and kenna one. Then every time maths lessons , i will go ,' wah sian , mr toh ....' . lols , i also never hand up homework & talk alot during his lessons . So , okay la , my bad too. At least now I hand up my work alrdy , and rarely dose off during his lessons. So , okay la , nver really kenna. He also doesn't aim anyone now. As for luo lao shi , honestly, I find her uber naggy during sec 3. Srsly man ,buat tahan ah. lols . But then , i think mainly is cuz she's concern bout our chinese . O lvl chinese on June mah, so cannot afford to slack a single bit. As for now , i find her very kind and also very funny now. Her jokes are like , very dumb la , but the way she says it is very amusing. hah. Mrs pandian ah.. haha ; ) The class dont like her , cos she doesn't give proper instructions and sometimes , she will say things like, 'i expect 4s2 to be a better class' , or ' Have I underestimated u guys' . Abit hurt lah , lols. Abit abit : ) . But personally, i find her quite okayy la. I guess is cos mrs lee treated us too well , and we cannot adapt to the sudden change. Who knows, time can tell : / Mr paul Tan. .. .. ... - No comments- lolss . a normal PE teacher . oh , one good point. He doesn't talk many craps. Once we gather below, greeted each other, abit of talk for about 3 min , den go play alrdy. yups. Mr chua .. sec 3 tat time , hes rly one of my fav teachers la. Very humorous and also nice to us. He was our form teacher . Now , i dunno isit my sense of humour disappear or wat , but i rarely laugh during his lessons. Well , bio is a tough subject . Perhaps he dun wanna joke anymore , and focus on teaching us. okayy la. still a nice teacher. Mrs phua & mdm wong , same same la. both close buddys , which leads to the same style of teaching. haha. Mrs phua has absolutely 0 emotions. ----------------------------------------------------------- . lols , rly rly . But still nice lah. lols.As for mdm wong , her actions are really funny. i will laugh my ass off. lol . Summore she isnt strict . But well , she teaches just fine :) Last but not least, ms lo , our current form tcher. Very nice and sweet larh , lols. She doesn't flare up at all , and also can sort of ' bully ' her. School days are so normal , so normal : / Everyday do the same things, face the same teachers , do the same homework and attend the same morning assembly. Our teachers are damn 'fit' , always never apply leaves one. ( ytd mrs pandian & mdm azzah dint come ) . Tats considered luxury already. 2 periods nia. However , yeah , prelims are really soon. About 3 weeks or so ? i guess so yeah. Gonna have chinese O lvl listening compre on the 15th July& getting FOUNDERS on 26th July. This few days , i've been staying back in school to play bball wif my frens . Really , i very long never play alrdy. I think , for th entire term 2 i've never touch basketball. Now coming back to play, really fun. The nostalgia kicked in as i remembered diyao ,who got Gordon & I to up stairs . haha. Okay , lols. gonna end here ps: peckjoon , stop vibrating . lOls. |
